Director of Student Ministries

Kevin came to 2PC in 2016.  He grew up in Augusta, GA (no, he doesn’t really play golf…at least not very well) and graduated from Covenant College.  Kevin has been in youth ministry for over 17 years in South Carolina, Florida and Georgia before coming to Tennessee.  He still loves youth ministry and can’t imagine doing anything else!  Kevin is married to Nancy and has 3 children - Knox (2002), Mallory (2004) and Mary Cleo (2009).  Oddly, Kevin roots for Notre Dame in football, Duke in basketball, and the New York Giants, Knicks and Mets.  Kevin is honored to be a part of the great heritage of a strong and vibrant youth ministry here at Second and enjoys laughing a lot with our awesome staff!

Upper Grades Girls Director

Adrianne has been at 2PC since February 2003 –yes. 2003!– and absolutely loves Memphis! She grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!!). After graduation, she was a missionary with the International Mission Board in Nazareth, Israel for a year before returning to work in college ministry at Auburn for almost three years. After many years doing girls youth ministy, Adrianne is still in love with Jesus and loves her job.

Adrianne is married to Will Cranford, a North Carolina man, and they spend their time going to the Kroc center, watching tv shows, playing music, and getting overly competitive playing cards together. They have an addition to their family. His name is Zeke and he is the cutest and coolest little boy in all of the world.

Adrianne loves Memphis, hanging with high school gals, and 2pc! She HIGHLY dislikes cats, smart cars, and word problems. Ask her anything about music, but never ask her to help you with math.

Administrative Assistant to the Student Ministry and Family Team

Louanne was born and raised and Bethlehem, PA. After studying at Rutgers University, NJ, Louanne married to her best friend Fran, who is a worship leader here in Memphis. While married for more than 36 years, Louanne has three grown children--a daughter wholives in Memphis, a son in Franklin, TN., and another son in Belize on the mission field, with my 4 grandchildren. After working and serving for many years in ministry, I consider it a privilege to serve alongside a team of young adults who want to share the love of Jesus and see the next generation changed for His glory!

Senior High Director

Raised in Memphis, Will was blessed by a wonderful family of God-fearing parents along with the smartest brother in the world. After high school, will attended Auburn University despite being a Tennessee fan for most of his life. Along with the Tigers, Will is an avid Grizz fan and still roots for the Memphis Tigers.
Will is married to his beautiful bride Mary after dating her for more than 7 years! In 2017, Will and Mary added Nora to their family! She is a blessing to all, who knows no strangers, and genuinely loves life.

Will loves to do anything outside, work on house projects, or eat literally anywhere. Will is honored to be a part of this youth staff that made an impact on his life years ago.

Early Grades Girls' Director

Alyssa has been a member of Second since her involvement with the Fellows programs in 2011. She began her two-year youth internship May 2013 after teaching middle school social studies at Binghampton Christian Academy formerly known as The Neighborhood School for two years. She is originally from everywhere but claims North Carolina as her heart. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 with a degree in Political Science and Photojournalism. GO HEELS! She enjoys spontaneous dance parties and can become very passionate about things very quickly. God is her first love and she delights in living life with him.

In August 2015, Alyssa started as our early grades girls' director! Memphis has become her family and she is excited to be guaranteed more years here! GRIT and GRIND!

Mary Raine Ivy.jpg

Middle Grades Girls' Director

Mary Raine was born and raised in Memphis. After graduating from White Station High School in 2009, she went to Nashville, where she studied Human & Organizational Development at Vanderbilt University.  After graduation, she moved to Houston, TX, where she worked in youth ministry at Christ the King Presbyterian for two years.  Although her time in Texas affirmed her passion for ministry and gave her a deep love for Tex-Mex and rodeos, she is excited to be back in the land of double names and pork barbecue.  Mary Raine loves rollerblading, drinking coffee, going on walks, live music, and the Olympics.  She is thrilled to be a part of an incredible staff and a ministry that impacted her deeply.

Junior High Director

Jarrod first entered middle school in 2002, and he's never quite left. Standing at a mere five foot seven inches he is sometimes, even now, mistaken for a junior higher. Rumor has it, this is the origin story for his sudden beard growth while he was at Covenant College. While there, he majored in something boring, did ridiculous things with his friends, and remembered his deep love for students. After God closed, bolted, and locked several doors of career options, he took his first job in youth ministry at a church in Atlanta. To blow off the inevitable steam from things like sleep depriving retreats, boisterous small groups, and unexpected Walmart runs, he enjoys the adrenaline rush of rock climbing, the cardiovascular strategy of soccer, and the calm-inducing quiet of reading. He began his official tenure at Second when moving to Memphis in October, 2018, driving a truck and pulling his beloved yellow Jeep Wrangler. He’s pumped to cart students around in his doorless stick-shift while reminding them of the fathomless wealth of knowing Jesus.

Two-Year Resident

Carly was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and was raised in Maumelle, Arkansas just 20 minutes outside of the capital. She graduated from Episcopal Collegiate School and began an Undergraduate Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Throughout college, some of her favorite memories include joining Alpha Gamma Delta in Fall of 2014, being on College Staff for Ozark Mission Project, attending Orlando Project for a summer and weekly attending Campus Outreach her Junior and Senior year of College. She has always felt a calling to minister to Middle and High School students and is looking forward to her two years as Youth Resident.

Jordan Young.JPG

Two-Year Resident

Jordan is from a small town in western Kentucky called Princeton. Growing up he enjoyed anything that required a ball and physical activity, which transitioned into high school where he played baseball, football and basketball. He attended Murray State University and graduated with a degree in Engineering Physics. Throughout college, he was heavily involved with Campus Outreach; attending beach projects, serving in events, and leading weekly meetings. Alongside collegiate ministry, he also served in a local church volunteering in the youth ministry. Overtime, God began to develop a desire to love and serve middle and high school students with the gospel that had radically changed his life. He is so excited to grow a deep love for the city of Memphis and see what the Lord has in store during the next two years here at Second Pres.
